Capacity Sizing in Commercial HVAC- Air conditioning System

October 18, 2012

High, Over Pay Energy costs of HVAC elements are directly proportional to the “Over sized” climate control area. Overall energy efficiency rating has impact on size requirement of Air conditioner/HVAC. More likely, owners of older commercial areas/factories may choose to keep their original historical character by preserving or preferably using “Windows” genre systems.  But antique or old model systems were confront design and usually have low level energy efficiency, ultimately it means that larger cooling and hvac systems unit are required for those factories working under roof of older doors and windows.
The spaces between exterior and interior walls have been generally term as “Building envelope. You can easily determine ideal and perfect size of your commercial hvac and ac units with the help of building envelope. Factories generally made up of stone or brick facades and plaster walls coated on interior sides, where quality of insulation is low, make some sense of larger units. You can also consider direct shade or windows facing west as unit capacity factors.
